Fifthline’s long-term goal isn’t to be the only entity building attainable housing in Kansas City — it’s to build the manufacturing capacity that lets more of the region’s builders, nonprofits, and community organizations deliver housing on infill sites that today don’t pencil.

That means positioning Fifthline as shared regional infrastructure: a production capability that aligned builders, community land trusts, and housing authorities can draw on, rather than a competitor bidding for the same handful of projects.

Getting there starts small — a proof of concept, then pilot production — before scaling into the kind of facility capacity that can serve the broader region. Collaborators can follow that path in more detail through the partner ecosystem platform.
